Long Island Marina

8400 Long Island Rd, Catawba, NC 28609–click for directions. Must reserve in advance. No walk-ups.

By car, our location is perfect for avoiding heavy I-77 traffic. Easily accessible from Charlotte, Mooresville, Statesville, Sherrills Ford, Troutman, Denver, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Hickory, Newton, Conover, Catawba, Claremont, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, and the entire Lake Norman area.

By water, our location offers quick access to low-congestion areas–perfect for lake cruising, tubing, water sking, etc.  We are also close to several restaurants, gorgeous homes, Lake Norman’s only waterfall–Balls Creek Waterfall (only accessible by kayak)–and more Lake Norman fun.

As you arrive at the marina will see a lime green RENTAL PARKING THIS LOT ONLY SIGN directing you to park in the first parking lot on your right at the top of the hill. This is the ONLY parking lot you can park in. Be sure to pull up as far as possible in your parking spot. If you have multiple cars, be sure to park in a column (directly in front and in back of each other). If you don’t park in the correct lot, you will be charged $50 per car — and your car may be towed.

Once you park, gather your belongings and walk towards the water, follow the paved path and the lime green signs to the RENTAL CHECK-IN area. You will see us in bright green/yellow shirts.
